Ultralap is a thin polyester plastic sheet precoated with polish. Ultralap will often solve scratching problems. It is used on a master lap and held to it by a thin film of water. (Spectra is a high purity optical cerium). Each package contains 5 laps.

Which UltraLap do I need?
• Cerium oxide Ultralaps are recommended for quartz.
• Tin Oxide has a slower polishing action and is useful for a broad range of gem species.
• Chrome Oxide is especially good for the soft and delicate collector type stones.
• The Spectra lap is a high concentration Cerium lap for polishing quartz.
