Diamond Pacific Linde A Aluminium Oxide (0.2 micron) - 25gm

This is our best and purest grade of Aluminum Oxide, also known as Alumina. The uniform size and shape of the particles make this an excellent polishing compound for faceting. Mix with water to form a slurry. A superb polishing agent for natural gems such as andalusite, apatite, beryl, feldspar, fluorite, garnets, opal, peridot, quartz, spinel, topaz, tourmaline and zircon. 0.2 micron.

Ideal for both tumbling and lapping processes, this polish is a high-grade aluminum oxide polishing compound. It has an ideal particle size of 0.2 microns, meaning it applies a superior polish on almost any properly prepared stone. Produced from new processing techniques that create a fine, well-graded polish. Best used with a slightly damp leather disc or belt. Mix powder with just enough water to form a paste (not quite toothpaste-thick).

Linde A - This is a .3 micron polish that has been around for a long time. Linde also makes a .05 micron polish called Linde B and a 1.0 micron polish called Linde C. The Linde B is a little softer, 8 vs. 9 on the Mohs scale.
