The single cut burr rapidly removes material and creates a smooth finish. The cylinder shape with a flat end is ideal for contour finishing. This burr is also used for removing heavy stock, deburring, cleaning, milling, and more. Burrs are great for cutting, grinding, and removing burrs and sharp edges. Depending on the contour and type of material you are working on, the speed of the carbide burr in your rotary tool varies. It is advised to begin the burr at a slow pace and increase the speed as you continue working. High speeds help avoid clogging in the burr’s grooves.
This burr has a 1/8” (3 mm) shank diameter and a ¼” (6 mm) head diameter.
