Lapcraft Diamite 6 Wheel Cabbing Machine

Good for any cabbing job but a favorite with opal cutters, the Lapcraft 6" Diamite is a great little machine. This machine comes in six wheel configuration and can be fitted with your choice of wheels (mesh sizes). All these machines are of cast aluminium and stainless steel construction. Some people once believed that the Diamite was not a good cabber as it was thought that water splashed up and contaminated the wheels. This has turned out to be untrue. In actuality, the way the Diamite is designed (where the water is fed from the top of the machine onto the wheels) makes contamination extremely difficult to occur. Popular with keen fossickers, the Diamite is often taken out on the back of a truck while on fossicking expeditions. The stones, once found can be immediately shaped and smoothed.
