To Adapt Shafts For Polishing Buffs. These tapered spindles are used to hold muslin, felt or ring buffs. Just screw the buffing wheel onto taper until tight. The tapers are made with either right or left handed threads; depending on which side of the motor the spindle is to be mounted and the rotation of the shaft. All the spindles have straight shafts and are secured with set screws.
