TIP: These blades require a petroleum based or synthetic cutting oil as a cutting fluid/coolant. Water is not suitable to use with these blades and they should not be used dry under any circumstances.

For slabbing, trimming agates and jaspers or other heavy cutting jobs, you should use an oil-based coolant. Oil provides better cooling properties, which will give you longer blade life.
Keep your blade in top shape! Sharpen diamond blades and remove built up cutting glaze to expose new diamond edges for better performance. Aluminium oxide sticks are faster and more effective than using red brick or obsidian. Sticks are 4" x 3/4" in size.
Water Soluble coolant that has excellent lubricating properties and rust inhibitors plus added skin conditioners for use in saws up to 10". Dilute 20 to 1 for grinding and 10 to 1 for sawing.

To fit blade: Loosen the screws, insert the blade ensuring the teeth are pointing towards the handle and facing away from the frame. Tighten one screw, then push the frame against the bench and tighten the other keeping the frame under pressure. The blade will be held taut in the frame.
