Not just a store, Gemworld also offers classes & workshops throughout the year. Some of the classes covered in 2008 included: basic wire work, chain-work, beginner's jewellery techniques and Introduction to Precious Metal Clay. Keep an eye on our online calendar for upcoming classes. Please note that bookings are essential.

As a side note: If you and 6 friends are interested in having a personalized beading class or you have a specific piece that you would like to learn, be sure to speak with a Gemworld staff member for a group rate. Our group classes are essentially free; you really only pay for the beads in your kit. It's a nice opportunity to do something different with your friends, make an extra special group present, or simply create a memorable piece that only you and your friends will have.
